KRAFT LINER SPECIFICATION AND USAGE

1. Kraft: KA (Weight: 125, 150, 185,230 gram/m2)

(Standard weight: 125, 150, 185,230 grams/square meter)

Feature
KA is golden brown kraft paper, commonly used as a top and bottom liner of the corrugated sheet board. KA has good properties in strength, durability, and moisture & impact resistance. Therefore, it is suitable for heavy contents and the product that needs to be stacked for a long time during transportation.

Usage

KA’s color is very popular in Thailand, so it is widely used in domestic and export.
Because of its’ good moisture resistance, it is commonly used in frozen products and products that need to be transported by sea.

Examples of usage: electrical appliances, electronic parts, foods, frozen vegetables and fruits, furnitures, automotive parts, etc.

2. Kraft: KL or KH (Weight: 125, 150, 175, 205 gram/m2)

(Standard weight: 125, 150, 175,205 grams/square meter)

Feature
KL is natural colored kraft paper. It has no mixing of pigments and commonly used for top and bottom liner of corrugated sheet board. KL has good properties in strength, durability, and moisture & impact resistance. Same as KA liner, KL or KH is suitable for heavy contents and the product that needs to be stacked for a long time during transportation.

Usage
Because KL or KH is natural colored paper, so it is environmentally friendly material that comply with EU standards. KL or KH liner is widely used in the packaging for export.

Examples of usage: electrical appliances, electronic parts, automotive parts, processed foods, etc.

3. Kraft: KI (Weight: 125, 150, 185 gram/m2)

(Standard weight: 125, 150, 185 grams/square meter)

Feature
KI is light brown kraft paper, commonly used as a top and bottom liner of corrugated sheet board. Because it is light colored paper, so it is suitable for design printing.
It has moderate strength, durability properties and a good cost performance.

Usage
Due to above properties, KI liner is mostly used in printing carton for domestic products and export products that are not very heavy.

Examples of usage: garments, toys, cosmetics, etc.

4. Kraft: KS or KW (Weight: 140, 170 gram/m2)

(Standard weight: 140,170 grams/square meter)

Feature
KS or KW is white kraft paper. The properties are similar to KA, and commonly used as a top or bottom liner of corrugated board. Same as KA, KS or KW has good properties in strength, durability, and moisture & impact resistance. Because the color is white, so it can make a printing design more outstanding that can add value to the products in the packaging.

Usage
Because of its’ good appearance and good moisture & impact resistance, KS or KW liner is widely used in premium packaging.
Examples of usage: export products; such as vegetables, fruits, processed food, orchids, electrical appliances, etc.

5. Kraft: CA or M (Weight: 105, 125, 150, 185 g/m2)

(Standard weight: 105, 125, 150, 185 grams/square meter)

Feature
CA or M is kraft paper that commonly used for flute or inside liner in corrugated sheet board. Compare with others, CA or M has the lowest strength, durability and moisture & impact resistance. On the other hand, it is the cheapest kraft paper.

Usage

CA or M is commonly used for flutes and inside liner for corrugated sheet board. This paper is not recommended to use as top or bottom liner in corrugated sheet board.

Examples of usage: partition, pad, and wrapping corrugated sheet board.
